What is LAMAXU?

LAMAXU (Pronounced Lamasu),  simplifies an organisations IBM MQ (MQSeries) monitoring script debt by consolidating and exposing monitoring information through a single collector.

 
The LAMAXU collector is a Java agent that remotely connects to IBM MQ and exposes all its available metrics in an easily consumed format, allowing it to be monitored  by virtually any monitoring system.
 
While most premium enterprise monitoring solutions do include the capacity to monitor IBM MQ, many have very basic functionality and only allow you to monitor basic things like queue depths.
 
Using LAMAXU you can save significant effort, and money by extending your existing monitoring solution.  All IBM MQ metrics are available for consumption via one of standard formats shown below.

Lamaxu simplifies the process of collecting IBM MQ statistics from a complex distributed environment. The Lamaxu agent has the ability to collect MQ message statistics from all platforms MQ is supported on, including mainframe ZOS.
